Steam for Hucknall - the aviation location rich in tradition

Fail-safe 24/7 steam for the Hucknall aviation site

CERTUSS has supplied Rolls-Royce in Hucknall, Great Britain with a new steam system for the anodizing process. The company's old steam system proved to be inefficient. The new system from CERTUSS offers energy-efficient steam supply in 24/7.

Update: ITP Aero has taken over the Rolls-Royce site in Hucknall

ITP Aero is a company within the Rolls-Royce Group and one of the largest manufacturers of aircraft engines and components in the world. When it took over Rolls-Royce's Hucknall branch in December 2020, ITP Aero took over the existing facilities in their entirety – including the container steam system from CERTUSS for independent steam supply for the anodising process.

Equipment

Complete system, ready for operation in a container:

  • Steam generators
  • Stainless steel feed water tank
  • Tube insulation inside the container
  • Automated water monitoring
  • Duplex water softening
  • Flue gas economizer
  • Exhaust gas system

Mobile container steam systems from CERTUSS are impressive as a space-saving alternative to a conventional boiler house.
