Textile care Klaiber
The Textilpflege Klaiber company in Villingen-Schwenningen replaced a large old oil-combustion water chamber boiler with a natural gas-heated rapid steam generator from CERTUSS. Instead of the previously cost-intensive heat-up phases, this dry cleaning operation now benefits from fast, modulating steam generation.
Dry cleaner Klaiber in Villingen-Schwenningen has been a full-service provider in the laundry and dry cleaning field for more than 80 years, focusing on hotel, retirement home and hospital laundry.
The decisive reason for the new acquisition of a modern, high-performance and efficient steam generator was the costly start-up and heat-up phases prior to the conversion. The system builder's plans envisioned a switch from oil to gas and the utilization of heat recycling using flash traps and buffer tanks. The energy cost calculation yielded savings of 4,500 Euros per month. This amount was exceeded. Today, the operation saves 5,000 Euros in energy costs a month.
The CERTUSS steam generator supplies the laundry line, multiple dryers and washing machines, a BÖWE cleaning machine and the mangles and ironing tables.

Requirements
An energy-efficient, economical and low-maintenance complete system for supplying steam was required. Up to 1,500 kg/h of steam was needed for the many different applications.
Solution
By switching from oil to gas and utilizing heat recycling, it was possible to save several thousand Euros a month with a new steam system from CERTUSS.
Thanks to the pre-installed CVE supply unit, installation and commissioning of the system could be implemented within one weekend.
